CSO/CTO
Prior to his current role, Christophe served as a Project Leader at Bio-Rad from 2008 to 2014, where he spearheaded the development of multiplex serological diagnostic kits in virology. His work included the creation of Luminex assays and micro-array assays for simultaneous serological screening of HIV, Hepatitis B, and C infections. He also managed the technology transfer of micro-array technology from an American company to Bio-Rad France.
Christophe’s career began in 2003 at Biomedical Diagnostics (BMD), where he developed in vitro diagnostic kits using Luminex Technology in collaboration with marketing and instrumentation departments. In 2004, he joined CNAM’s analytical chemistry team as an associate professor, developing new bio-analytical methods and technologies, including whole cell, DNA, and label-free biosensors. He managed a team of engineers, technicians, and PhD students, and established industrial collaborations with Theradiag and several institutional partners.
Christophe Védrine holds an engineering degree in biotechnology from Université de Technologie de Compiegne (1998), a Master’s degree in cellular and molecular biology from Université Pierre et Marie-Curie (1999), and a PhD in biotechnology from Ecole des Mines de Saint-Etienne (2003).
